Elvie's 39th Birthday
It may be raining like cats and dogs outside but Elvie's place was warm and cozy with friends and loved ones. A tasty spread was prepared by Rommel and friends brought their favorite deserts. There was so much to choose from, it was just dizzying!
Don't forget to click on the photographs to get a better view of the lovely guests.

A bevy of beauties, aka Las Bellas Flores with their handsome escorts had dinner courtesy of Ada. Food was great, company was extraordinary, conversations were start and stop but no matter, we all just loved being together. Thank you very much Ada, sa uulitin. Mabuhay ang Pilipinas!

Elfins attend Rev. Fr. Ron's First Mass in the Bronx
The Elfins - Ada, Elvie and Deanna with their trusted guide Mark, trekked to Saint Raymond's Church in the East Tremont, Bronx for Rev. Fr. Ron's First Mass in the Bronx. Expectations about the area were not high but we were wrong. The Church is considered the Mother Church of the Bronx by the Archdiocese of New York. The parishioners consider Saint Raymond's as their version of "St. Patrick's Cathedral in the Bronx." They were right. Though smaller in scale, Saint Raymond's boasts of a lovely rosette window and the altar's magnificent arches were painted in celestial blue and speckled with gold stars. The altar flowers were ablaze in colors of brights reds, hot pinks in a tall, red orange vase in front of the altar table while the white chrysanthemums in bold contrast to the equally tall, cobalt blue vases on the side of the altar. Thick columns of Carrara marble defined the altar. We all considered ourselves blessed that we had the opportunity to visit Saint Raymond's and more importantly attend Mass.
